Make a heart emblem.

- Scissors
- Pen
- Sewing machine
- Printer / laser cutter
materials
- Felt (red, white, yellow)
- paper or plastic for the template

step 1 - Cut the template
- If you have a laser cutter you can cut the template from plastic; it will then be reusable more often.
- Print the template.
- Cut out the template.
step 2 - Trace
- Trace the entire heart onto white felt.
- Trace the lower part onto yellow felt.
- Trace the upper part onto red felt.
step 3 - Cut out
- Cut out the felt pieces.
step 4 - Sewing
- Use red thread to sew the red part in place.
- Use yellow thread to sew the yellow part in place.
step 5 - Finished
- Take your patch home and sew it onto your carnival jacket.
